In addition to membership, we welcome financial and in-kind donations for specific purposes or for general use in support of the missions of Friends of Hobbs and the park.
Many of the taxidermy mounts and some of the interactive computers in the Visitor Center were provided by Friends of Hobbs. The Teachers Guide available through Park Education page of this website was prepared jointly by Friends of Hobbs and park staff and entirely funded by our donations.
An annual fund raising event, Hob Nob, is held each spring in the Visitor Center. Invitations are sent to all members and others interested in supporting Friends of Hobbs and the park. Come join in the food, friendship and silent auction! See the Current Needs page for a list of items that may be provided through your donations.
